Our Sincere Thanks to those who supported "Operation Spread the Love" 2011! We were able to be a blessing to 4 single moms (13 children total) by helping to provide clothing, shoes, and school supplies. Due to inclimate weather the fellowship @ Mt. Trashmore was cancelled by the City of Virginia Beach, but We look forward to next year!

The purpose of this drive is to collect school supplies for disadvantaged and low-income youth. Without basic school materials, these students will start the academic year with reduced chances of thriving in the classroom. It is our goal to encourage other ministries, organizations, & people within our community to collaborate our efforts and "spread the love" by helping to equip these children with all the necessary materials. This will increase their chances of having a productive and successful school year. The ages of the children that will receive the school supplies range from pre-school to high school. All school supplies, from paper, pens, pencils and crayons, to backpacks and calculators, are needed. No amount or item is too great or too small!
